Accounting and Financial Reporting (AFR) will release enhancements to the Electronic Financial Reports (EFR) Inbox on Tuesday, December 9. Access the EFR Inbox via Self-Service > Business & Financial Systems – Data, Reports & Dashboards – Electronic Financial Reports (EFR) Portal – Transaction Reports – Inbox. Only those with a WhoKey role or who have set up a voluntary subscription to account(s) will have activity in their inboxes.

Filters section updates:

  • The filters section at the top will now display fully (no collapsible feature). These filters will apply to both inboxes – WhoKey Role Assignments & Voluntary Subscriptions, as noted at the top of this section.
  • Removed options:
    • Activity column
    • Two of the MAS Defaults options.
  • The WhoKey filtering will be moved to the far right of the filters section.
  • The Save Defaults button will be replaced with the floppy disk icon next to Apply Filters.
    • Reminder – Selecting the Apply Filters option is a temporary save of the filters selected, while selecting the floppy disk save icon will apply the filters selected as your permanent defaults.

All items removed from the top filters section that used to apply to the whole inbox page, will be handled directly within each of the individual inbox sections going forward.

New Inbox features:

  • Improved sorting/filtering for the numerous columns.
    • Sort arrow indicator: If both up and down arrows appear, that indicates there is no sort applied to that column. and numbering added if multiple column sort applied.
    • Filter icon: Will have a solid circle added to the top left of the icon.
  • Hover help text included for:
    • Sort icons to remind users how to hold Shift key when selecting multiple columns to sort.
    • The various icons to provide explanation.
  • Grant roles will be added to filter options.
  • Role(s) display will be updated to single-line format.
  • Clear/Restore/Save sort/filter preferences using icons:
    • Clear (eraser) all sort/filtering; appears only when sorting or filtering of the inbox is applied.
    • Restore (clock with circular back arrow) user’s saved sort/filtering defaults.
    • Save (floppy disk) user’s applied sort/filtering defaults.

Before Go-Live:

  • Your current applied filters for the Activity or MAS Defaults sections that are being removed, will not be converted upon go-live.
  • If you want to keep your current filters,take the following action prior to December 9:
    • Review your saved filters under the Activity and MAS Defaults sections.
    • Save a screenshot of your current filter preferences for reference to use for reapplying your preferred filters after go-live.
  • NOTE: No action is needed by you if you have no saved filters for the Activity or MAS Defaults sections that are being removed for before or after go-live. 

After Go-Live:

  • Apply your previous saved preferences, if you had any, using the new filters and icons.
    • From Activity column:
      • Show all MAS reports  Default of Y and N selected for both Income Statement and Balance Sheet Activity columns.
      • Show MAS reports w/ Income Stmt Activity Select Y for Income Statement Activity & N for Balance Sheet Activity columns.
      • Show MAS reports w/ Balance Sheet Activity Select Y for Balance Sheet Activity & N for Income Statement Activity columns.
      • Various reconciled status options apply selections to the Reconciliation Status column.
    • From MAS Defaults:
      • Show WhoKeys where I am an assigned… Assignments can be selected in the Role column.
  • Sort/filters are saved per inbox.
